6 more days (posted a day late)

There is a lot to do to prepare a kitchen so you can start GF-CF. Today I reorganized the shelves in my pantry. One shelf has all the GF-CF stuff on it, the other has all the stuff we need to finish eating this week! (Or donate to the food bank.) I didn't have much in my house that was GF-CF. Some raisins, canned fruit, some potato chips. I guess I need to start grocery shopping so we won't starve! That was the other thing I worked on today. I started planning my menu for next week. I started with breakfast and snacks today writing down every single ingredient I would need to make it. I am keeping it simple this month though so i am not making things that need a lot of substitutions. For the first week we will be eating a lot of cereal and eggs. Snacks will consist of Gf-CF chips and fruit and veggies. I love to munch on things throughout the day so I know I need to have lots of options so I don't go crazy.

The other thing we did today was eat a lot of junk! I have this overwhelming desire to eat as much junk as possible because I know I won't get it again for another month. mmmm, s'mores.
